9/4/2023 0 Comments Steam charts elyonThere are lots of F2P MMORPGs also worth playing, some on private severs too, which you can play and save your money, but I leave them for you to find out.īasically research what online games are you getting yourself into before starting to spend money on first. RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape (I don't play them, but I think they are good) if we don't count SWG private servers, it's going to get support for about another 10 years and it has a very good story) SWTOR (also game I don't play anymore, but seeing as it's the only Star Wars MMORPG. GW2 (also a game I don't like or play, but I think it's stable and doing good) LOTRO (my currently main MMORPG along Vanilla WoW, Perfect World Classic and a few more, the game looks a bit outdated, but it's in a stable spot, the story is amazing, so is the world and it's getting content on a regular basis, recently they announced the will be modernizing parts of the game that feel too outdated too, which I'm very much looking forward to) FF14 (I also don't like it after trying it, but looks very stable and successful and people who play it seem to be pretty happy about it) ESO (I don't like it or play it anymore, but I can see it existing for at least another 10 years) ago I love that they anonymize the opposing side like DAOC did. Not one AAA title like WoW, Gw2, ESO or NW has that kind of optimisation in large scale. If you want to invest money in a relatively stable MMORPG, here's some that I think are worth it: Elyon has the best large scale optimisation ive ever saw. If you really spent that much money on this game, you should have researched first if the game was doing well, was it prospering or was it dying, like it was. ELYON I played less than an hour, because it just wasn't good. Currently in the Elyon beta to get a house you need to reach level 36 and complete one of the main story quests called The First Step For Pioneers. I base my comparisons on Vanilla World of Warcraft, which I still play 15 years after I first discovered it and that speaks a lot. Gaining a level even early on in an MMORPG should take like 20-30 minutes, if it's slower, the game is bad. I lost interest in the game when I gained 5-6 levels in about 2-3 minutes. It felt really low effort and shallow - combat, visuals, story, character progression. The game never garnered much attention or players when it launched and recently had about 150 players daily on Steam, I don't know if the game is playable outside of Steam, which would mean some more players, but it just was never a good game.
